Second book event in a row, but don’t get used to it. I just couldn’t ignore this because The Wire is the best marathon show of all time. Before, it was 24. American’s Next Top…model, designer, whatever, doesn’t even come close and Road Rules was arguably the worst show on television, challenged only by later Real World seasons and their horrific progeny Road Roads vs. Real World.

And sorry, because I shamelessly used The Wire as a hook. Richard Price also wrote the novel Lush Life, about an early morning murder in the LES, which he is promoting today with an in-store event at Bookcourt in Cobble Hill. Check out the article in the Times so you don’t look a fool. And please don’t ask about Bubbles in the Q&A.
