$3 Bhi Bhiman Show Tonight (4/15) aka The End to a Perfect Day

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Even his shadow looks like it's good at making music.

If you’ve been following the site the past few days, you’ve noticed that a lot of great cheap shit is coming up today.  There’s the $2 A’s game, FREE admission to the new Science Museum, and the FREE tacos at Taco Del Mar.

If you’re unemployed or don’t mind playing hooky from work, you can have the perfect broke-ass day.  Peep this: Start at the Science Museum at 9:30 am and check out all that Mr. Wizardy stuff until 11.  Then head out to Oakland to catch the game at 12:30 pm.  Don’t forget to buy a $1 hotdog.  After the game, let’s say around 3 pm, head back into The City and redeem your FREE taco from Taco Del Mar at 2nd St. and Natoma (don’t forget to print your coupon here).  Afterwards, go home and sleep off the booze you’ve been sipping on from your flask all day (don’t think I don’t what you’re up to).

Then to add a cherry on top of an already amazing day, go see Bhi Bhiman play at the Red Devil Lounge at 8 pm!  Not only is Bhi one of my favorite singers in the Bay Area, he’s also gonna be yours after you pay only $3 to see him!  Seriously, the first time I heard Bhi play “Up in Arms”, his song about Huey P. Newton, I got goosebumps.  And if that’s not enough for you, Forrest Day and As a People are also playing tonight.  What the fuck?  Three bands for $3?  My sentiments exactly.  Just make sure to buy your tix ahead of time here since they are $5 at the door.

One last thing:  If you really do make it to all of these events today (consider it the Broke-Ass Challenge), and can prove it with your ticket stubs, I will take you out to ice cream.  Seriously.  We’ll even go to Humphry Slocombe.
