I woke up hella early today because I’m house sitting and the cats are unbearable. Not only do I need to give the 16 year old sack of bones a 50 ml IV drip of saline solution daily, but I also need to wipe her post-shit ass to prevent skidmarks on furniture, towels, and my lap because she only produces grade A diarrhea. And the sweet sound of fecal expulsion. She and her pal also like to run around on my body beginning around 5am to get fed and who am I to not punch them out.
But being up early, I also had a chance to read the Metro, which tipped me to the Adult Swim Presents series at Santos Party House. It is a line-up of free shows hosted by part-owner, full on awesome dood Andrew W.K., who used to wear a wig to maintain his rock persona despite chopping his hyena. Tonight, performances include: ANDREW W.K., CHERIE LILY, ALEISTER X, BAD BRILLIANCE, NATALIE PORTMAN’S SHAVED HEAD. 18+ and FREE. Doors open at 7pm, shows start at 7:30pm.
