I need to be careful when telling you about the JeJune Institute. I say this because so much of the thrill and wonder associated with it comes from the surprises it holds. So let me begin by just saying that taking part in the JeJune Institute is hands down one of the most enjoyable ways to spend $1.10 and a couple hours that you’ll ever come across.
The JeJune Institute is nothing like you’d expect. From the moment you arrive on the 16th floor of 580 California Street and tell the receptionist that you’re there for the JeJune Institute, you’ve done the equivalent of taking the red pill from the Matrix. Every step you take afterwards is completely mind-blowing.
I don’t want to give anything away, but what you will be embarking on is an exploration of San Francisco in ways you never imagined possible. It’s like being on the show Lost but instead of dodging weird fucking smoke monsters and “the Others”, you galavanting around one of the finest cities in the world. Every part of the puzzle opens up other things to be discovered.
I know you still have no idea what I’m talking about, and it’s probably a good thing, but seriously take my advice and go check out the JeJune Institute. All you need is a couple free hours, $1.10, a cell phone, and a willingness to give yourself over to a sense of adventure and wonder. I took part in it by myself, and I recommend doing it with no more than two other people. Let me know how it goes. Have fun and remember, “To those dark horses with the spirit to look up & see…a recondite family awaits.”
Thanks again to Emily from The Good Hotel for turning me on to my new favorite discovery.

Their website, just like you, provides no real information on what this is all about. Seems kind of cult-like.
I don’t wanna give anything away, but I promise it’s not a real cult. It’s al part of the performance. Trust me, I’m not the kind to get into cults.
