Well, I’m in migraine-city today folks and it is one unpleasant place to be.  , But it is Friday and it is sunny, so  I am typing briefly through my pain to bring you a couple things worth checking out today.

1. Seaport Music Festival: This week it’s The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (bad name, good music!) with another band called ZAZA and yet another band called Ribbons! Well, all right!

Friday, July 10th/ 6:00pm/ South Street Seaport, Pier 17 (South Street and Fulton Street)

2.Free Fridays at MOMA

Polish Art Posters! The contents of a woman’s entire house! And More!

3. Alien at Film Forum!

There’s never been a better time to watch an Alien burst through a woman’s stomach on the big screen. Easily the best sci-fi horror film ever made ever. Now through Wednesday
