Ty Segall is hypnotizing. A bit of a trip in modern rock, he blends old standards with dance-y beats and plenty of noise to create something truly unique. He’s local, and contributes and collaborates with one of my favorite local bands, Thee Oh Sees. He’s playing the SF Amoeba today for FREE at 6pm. It’s a recommended show if you’re interested in anything experimental and I’d highly consider going if I were you. I know there is a huge list of people at Outside Lands this weekend, but lets face it: your broke ass ain’t getting in. But that shouldn’t stop you from seeing some awesome music!
