Not believing in Universal Health Care is absolutely ridiculous. People don't mind paying taxes for fixing roads, but they are up in arms against paying taxes for fixing people.
This is fairly appropriate for today considering that I had to cut my road trip short due to sickness. Seriously, yesterday was one of the sickest days of my adult life. It was a beautiful day in Los Angeles, and while my friends were at a rooftop pool, I was shivering with the chills on a couch in a hotel room. But hey, at least I’m feeling a bit better now!
Truthfully, I was barely able to eat more than a cup of chicken soup yesterday and subsequently I don’t really have enough energy right now to think of witty and snarky shit to say. So I’m gonna cut and paste from the email that was sent to me. Regardless, I highly recommend that all you uninsured and underinsured people check this workshop out.
