NYU MEISA and CMJ Present the NYU College Showcase 2009

This Saturday, October 24th CMJ is partnering with NYU to offer the New York City community the chance to see the four bands that won the NYU MEISA Battle of the Bands Championship perform for FREE. .

It all goes down at Crash Mansion: Hip-Hop Artist NYLE, Headbanging, stagediving Shinobi Ninja, battle of the bands winner The Brother’s Frank and punk rock outfit, the Motorcycle Industry will all be performing.  The diversity of music guarantees a mixed-bag crowd and some pretty interesting people watching.  Think of it as an alternative to packing yourselves into the already overcrowded CMJ shows of bands that you already know,  and possibly the chance to hear an awesome band before they get crazy hyped.
