Geoff King got at me the other day to hip me to a great deal he came across. Apparently the fairly fancy Franklin Square Wine Bar in Oakland has an amazing happy hour where they give out delicious FREE appetizers. When I asked what kind of food it was, he responded, “Cured meats, aioli-type stuff, olives, gourmet meatballs, brie, bread, jam . . .fancy pants stuff.” Fancy pants stuff indeed Geoff!
Of course with all offers like this one must purchase a drink and FSWB does a white sangria for $6 during this happy hour. Granted it’s not the cheapest drink in the world, but from the way the food sounds, it might just be worth it. Thanks for the tip Geoff!
