		<description>No disrespect to Amuse Bouche guy or his wife, but why didn&#039;t they file for his green card as soon as they were married?  My ex-spouse is a non-US citizen and getting him a green card after we were married was super easy.  

We got married, we filed for the green card, he was given a temporary conditional green card while it was in process, after about 5 months we had the interview and then he got the final green card a couple of months after that.  It was painless, took under 9 months, which is amazingly fast compared to what other people go through.

All I&#039;m saying, this was a completely avoidable situation on their part.</description>
