Spectral Ambassadors Grant a FREE Audience – Yokai University SF Campus in J-Town

Dont be late for class.

Don't be late for class.

Hallowe’en may not be part of Japan’s culture, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like a good story about ghosties any less than the rest of us.  In Japan, they’re known as yokai and come in all sorts of fun shapes and sizes.

It would seem they decided to impart some of their brand of spookiness here in the city as they’ve opened sessions at Yokai University San Francisco Campus, hosted by the new J-pop culture center, New People, smack dab in the heart of Japantown.

Come get acquainted with the creepy through free exhibits, talks and movies all about yokai.

If you’d like to take it a step further and release your inner Wednesday, check out Black Peace Now and peruse the goth rags dressing the dark side across the Pacific.

They’re coming to get you Barbara….

    This is way too amazing.

And by the way, Haroowiin here in Tokyo consists of costumed clubbing, ha.
