This Saturday, December 5th marks the Feast of Saint Nicholas (aka Little Christmas) for a lot of Western Christendom. Ostensibly this means that when you wake up on Saturday morning, the giftish Turkish bishop may have left you a little treat in your shoe, which could mean a toe covered in marzipan or maybe a bag of gold if you were contemplating prostitution out of desperation. Fingers crossed!
Well, in case Saint Nick gets waylaid, never fear! We just happen to have our own little magic man with a twinkle in his eye named Stuart, and he, somehow, has procured three pairs of tickets he’s giving away for the Ferocious Few and Lilofee show at the Independent after this Saturday’s Indie Mart. What fun! You get a gift while looking for a darling little keepsake for someone else. It just makes you feel all bubbly like one of those percolating Christmas light things.
Honestly, kids, this fair is awesome and the goods beat the hell out of some last minute, obligatory crap you’ll inevitably pick up at the dog bus terminal. Besides all the cool shit, there’s also gonna be tons of warming “cheer” and holiday snacks. AAAND its two days!
