Atlas Café

There is a lot to like about this place. Excellent sandwiches (all under $7), a beautiful outdoor patio, live music Thursday thru Saturday nights, and all the lovely tattooed/pierced/bicycle riding hipsters you can stomach. An added bonus is that the café subscribes to a bunch of good magazines and has them on display for you to read. Atlas is also the place where a beautiful Brazilian woman once conned me into writing a 5 page paper for her about Allen Ginsburg’s Howl. Hey don’t laugh asshole! I’m not usually a chump like that, but when she invited me back to her place to help her study, I thought she meant “help her study”. You would’ve done the same thing…aw fuck off, I don’t have to explain myself to you.

Atlas was Holly and my favourite breakfast place when we first came to SF in 2003

  2. Yeah, it’s a fantastic place, even if you do get duped into writing a paper :)
