FREE Hangover Screening and FREE Beer

I was watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire and at work (I actually watch TV for a living–I wasn’t slacking off). One of the questions asked the contestant where the groom was found at the end of the movie the Hangover. The guy clapped his hands together and did a fist pump before Regis could even finish listing all the possible answers. I was thinking he was  so excited because it was, like totally, his favorite movie from the summer. Then he said, “Yes! It was it because I knew it would be a question!” I was really intrigued/saddend that he saw a movie that will (probably) be sold in a box set with “Old School” for studying purposes, when it’s the kind of movie made for not thinking too hard. It’s like the jeopardy contestants whose funny story for their introduction is based on their mom giving them an Alex Trebek tee shirt..but I digress. I bring up The Hangover because even though I knew the ending before I actually saw it, I laughed my ass off the entire time. The plot is pretty simple, so going into more details would ruin it for you. If you haven’t seen it, you can do it tonight for FREE at Mercury Bar. They’re showing the movie, and serving FREE well drinks and drafts of domestic beer and popcorn. And free beer always tastes better, especially in mid-town.
