Creme Brulee on Wheels

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

The sun is out and the people are shining vibrant shades of pink.  Nice days in San Francisco mean mainly one thing for the denizens of the Mission, Noe Valley, and The Castro: fucking off all day in Dolores Park.

I was walking through DP yesterday when I ran into Allan from Mission Mission, and we got to discussing all the normal shit we talk about:  the internet, San Francisco, and how we are suckers for being writers.  Seeing that we both cover the goings on of this strange city, the conversation ended up heading towards something we’re both excited about, the rise of street food culture in the Mission.  Mainly we talked about The Magic Curry Kart , The Amuse-Bouche Guy, and the guy who sells the gourmet ganja truffles out of urns.

Coincidently, after we parted I finally ran into one of San Francisco’s up and coming street food stars that I had yet to see: The Creme Brulee Cart Man.  This guy is brilliant enough to take some highfalutin shit and make it street foodable.  And the best part is, each one is only $3.

Considering he just uses a cart, he can be a hard guy to find, which is why he  started this twitter account.  Now every time you have a craving for custardy stuff with a crunchy top, all you gotta do is look online to see where dude is.
