Happy Hour and Fundraiser to Support Senior Lunch!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

It stands to reason that, considering the trajectory of my life, there’s a very good chance that I’m gonna be an old, broke, Jew in the future.  In fact, maybe I’ll make stickers that say, “You are old, broke and senile.”  Because of this, it’s in my best interest to help support the Kosher Lunch Program.  Shit, it may be my poor ass being fed in 40 years.  Yadadamean?  Here’s the info that the lovely Dena Stern forwarded about the event.  As she very well pointed out to me, “Bubbe would never let you go hungry…”

Happy Hour and Fundraiser to Save Senior Lunch:

Wed, May 20
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
330 Ritch
San Francisco, CA

The JCCSF Kosher Lunch Program provides 18,000 nutritious meals per year in a warm, welcoming environment to seniors at risk of social isolation and poor nutrition. This year, funding from the City of San Francisco has been cut by $36,000, and we need your support to save this vital program. Swing by after work for happy hour featuring DJ Sabbo (Israel), DJ Teeko (SF), DJ Dojah and BILLTRON! Must be 21 and older.  There will be awesome door prizes like passes to the JCC fitness center!

All proceeds from the $10 door charge will go towards the JCCSF Kosher lunch program.

Presented in partnership with 330 Ritch, Moishe House SF, The Israel Center/TZAVTA, Birthright Israel NEXT Bay Area.
