FREE Oysters, BBQ and Bands at EL Rio Tonight

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Just thought I’d let you all know that tonight is pure awesomeness at El Rio.  Like every Friday, there will be FREE Oysters starting at 5:30pm done by the infamous shucker Jackie and back up by Sissy Boy.  This literally happens every Friday and if you didn’t know this by now that means that a) you should buy my book and b) you should read this site more often.

BUT there is extra specialness going down at everybody’s favorite dive tonight.  They are celbrating some kind of holiday party from 7-11pm tonight at which there will be FREE BBQ and live music.  If this doesn’t make your day, then I don’t even know why we’re friends.

Also, if you’ve ever wondered about the history of El Rio’s building (starting in 1858) be sure to check this post on Burrito Justice!
