Eat? Free? Don't Mind if I do...

If you’re not familiar with it, Taylor’s Automatic Refresher in the Ferry Building is kind of like a gourmet In-N-Out Burger (wait, In-N-Out isn’t gourmet?) It’s delicious, I’m sure, but due to that fancy location the menu tends to be out of the Broke-Ass price range. Well, this Thursday the restaurant is holding a big Customer Appreciation Night at all three of their locations, which means FREE food from 6-8pm. No telling if they’ll be shooting Wisconsin Sourdough Burgers out of a t-shirt gun along the Embarcadero, but chances are you’ll at least get some tasty sweet potato fries and either way you’ll end up down on the Embarcadero for Happy Hour. Oh, and they’ll be making some kind of big announcement, if restaurant news is your thing. Edit: They actually made their announcement late yesterday: They’re re-naming the restaurant as “Gott’s Roadside” and will be giving away free burgers and such TONIGHT, (Thursday) from 6-8.

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
