Cheap Mani/Pedis at Minna Nails

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Minna Nails is my godsend. Normally, I don’t like to pay other people for my own personal cosmetic maintenance. I cut my own hair, I pluck my own eyebrows, I perform at-home Brazilians… you get the idea. I am an independent woman!

However, there is one area of my body where I refuse to cut corners: my feet. There’s just so much bad stuff going on down there '“ the nails, the cuticles, the callouses and blisters, and the toe lint, just to name a few. I can’t figure out a way to stay on top of it all, so a while back I just stopped trying. I don’t really own sandals anyway so who cares, right?

But I realized while I was getting my free yoga on that staring at my unkempt feet while doing a Downward Dog is probably really bad for my chakras. I resolved to get a pedicure, and I found that Minna Nails is the best and cheapest way to take care of business.

I got a pedicure for $11, which is a steal. They also do $11 manicures. Their work is quality; my feet looked good for weeks. I love happy endings.

Rebecca graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Literature, but she tells everyone she majored in Psychology so they don't ask her for book recommendations. She likes coffee, pickles, free yoga classes, and spends a lot of time with her dog.
