Free San Francisco Circus Fun

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If there is one thing I love more than county fairs, it is the circus.  Memories of acrobats, tight rope walkers and those crazy clowns in their crazy cars brings joy to my heart.  Circus music however is terrifying.  Luckily, a more sophisticated, non-creepy version of the circus can be found right here in the Bayrea!

This weekend, during Sunday Streets in the Mission, Circus Bella will be giving a FREE performance for all you lucky boys and girls!  The mission of Circus Bella is to uplift diverse audiences, engage community, and challenge it’s artists.  Their 60-minute, one ring circus features live music (of the non-terrifying variety) trapeze, balancing feats, contortion, juggling, clowning and much more.  Cool!

So, put your fear of clowns aside, and head out into the hopefully sunny Sunday streets for some old-fashioned circus fun!

Alison Lambert - Half Price Headliner

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
