Fall Fashion: Sally Draper Style

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

So it doesn’t take a cultural-critic genius, or  a Marc Zuckerberg coding type to tell you that Mad Men has been kicking serious ass this season.  Yes, part of it is because Don Draper has become more human, more layered and complex, part of it is because we’ve delved deeper and with more sympathy in to each and every character’s story.  A third part however is Sally Draper.  The only kid on the show with an actual story line, Sally’s turned from a lisping divorce casualty to a smart-mouthed Beatles-loving m-bater right before our eyes. Perhaps it’s  because I, too, was raised by a lovely, controlling, conservative ice-blonde, but there’s a special spot in mi corazon for li’l Sally Draper, Go Fish Champion and future pothead Seven Sisters alum.
