FREE 90s Dance Party Tonight at Bell House

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This Christmas, I was forced to finally go through the boxes of my crap taking over my parents’ basement. While rediscovering treasures like a cassette of Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On,” troll key chains, and more chokers than a person should be legally allowed to possess, I was once again the awkward flannel-wearing preteen writing a goodbye letter to Kurt Cobain post-suicide and burying it in the ground. Now you too can relive the good old days of the Clueless era with the free “Party Like It’s 1999” 90s dance party tonight at the Bell House.

If the chance to bust out your Doc Martens isn’t enough, tonight they’re giving away 4 tickets to their upcoming 90s-themed prom, “My So Called Prom.” To enter, just bring a pic of you from the 90s. The more embarrassing, the better… just hope Paul Rudd doesn’t show up and steal the show.

Party Like It’s 1999 – FREE 90s Dance Party
8PM-Midnight, Front Lounge.

Jill is an Ohio native and Boston University graduate who refuses to stop saying "pop" and wearing her Red Sox gear despite being heckled for doing so since moving to Brooklyn. She's been honing her thrifty ways since doing that silly thing people talk about when they ignore reason to follow their hearts and chose a career in the fulfilling but faltering music industry. She earns her beer money as a publicist and writer, and spends her spare time cooking, biking, and trying to decide if she's ready to get a cat.
