5,000 FREE BART Tickets Being Given Away Today

bart-tickets.jpg

Thanks to Jennifer Canale for hipping me to this via my facebook page.  My ass rides BART all the time, so I could surely use a FREE ticket.  Read all the info below.  I got it from Oakland Local.

On Thursday, April 21 – in honor of Earth Day – join BART at its first ever Blue Sky Festival.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Justin Herman Plaza (between Embarcadero BART station and the Ferry Building), will feature dozens of earth-friendly exhibitors with information and organic food giveaways.

BART invites participants to pick up a free passport and collect stamps from six festival exhibits. The first 5,000 people to return their completed passport will get a free $6 BART ticket. Every completed passport will be entered to win one of two Giant Expressway 2 folding bikes. Folding bikes are the only bikes allowed on every BART train.

So there you go!  I don’t know what all of this passport shit is, but hell, it’s a free BARt ticket.

Broke-Ass Stuart - Editor In Cheap

I've been called "an Underground legend": SF Chronicle , "an SF cult hero": SF Bay Guardian, and "the chief of cheap": Time Out New York, but to those familiar with my work, I'm just "that douchebag who writes books about cheap stuff and drinks a lot".
