Heyoooo, Bay Area!  This week we’re stoked to be giving away four pairs of tickets to this Thursday’s advance screening of the new Neil Patrick Harris, Amy Sedaris and Bonnie Somerville comedy ‘The Best and the Brightest.’ To be honest, we don’t even really care what the movie, set to release this summer, is about — we love Neil Patrick Harris and Amy Sedaris so much we would watch clips of them doing their taxes for hours at a time — but it actually sounds like a hilarious satire of the very, VERY jokeworthy world of the New York City elite!

There’s two showtimes, 7pm and 9pm, on June 2 at the Roxie Theater, and we’re sending two people and their plus ones to EACH SCREENING. To win, shoot an e-mail over to contests@brokeassstuart.com specifying which showtime you’d like to attend. The screening will also feature special deals and raffles from local vendors, including Dalva and Thirsty Bear Brewing Co., so you definitely don’t want to miss out!  And remember, if you don’t win, you can always buy tickets here.

‘The Best and the Brightest’ Advance Screening at the Roxie Thursday, June 2, 7pm & 9pm 3117 16th St. [Mission] $10 (or FREE if you win!)

When Christy announced she was leaving her family's Southern California home and moving to San Francisco, her mom said, "Have fun in that den of sin." This is the only (however sarcastic) advice Christy has ever taken from her mom, who also told her to join eharmony.com and cover her eyes during sex scenes in movies. Christy puts her creative writing degree to good use by locating the typos on Chinese food menus and spends most of her time challenging friends to all-you-can-eat contests and trying to get that one bartender at Zeitgeist to smile.
