The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Who is ready to ride bikes around SF this Friday night after work? Meet in the Panhandle (Ashbury and Oak) at 7:30 pm to ride into the wind at 8 pm with those who put on the San Francisco Bike Party every first Friday of the month. Jump into June with a touch of PRIDE – as this month’s theme is “In the Name of Love.”

The ride goes through a planned route, with stops along the way for sight-seeing, dancing and socializing. Expect hundreds of bikers joining the event put on by a CO-OP by and for bike enthusiasts, and put on by volunteers. Make sure your bike is up to speed and ready to ride the hills of our beautiful city.

The route starts in the Panhandle, goes through the Castro and the Mission and ends up downtown. Follow the full route here. The aim of the event is to build a community through biking. Let’s hope it doesn’t rain, but the show goes on rain or shine.
