Volunteer for FREE Outside Lands Tickets!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Don’t happen to have an extra $200 to splurge on the three-day music festival, Outside Lands, next month in Golden Gate Park? Well, me neither. For those of you itching to see Phish, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Muse and the Black Keys (to name a few) – there is still hope for you. If you sign up to volunteer at the festival by Saturday, July 30th, you can earn yourself a FREE ticket.

Sign up to be a volunteer to earn your FREE ticket to the festival here:

http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/volunteer/form.php

Just follow these simple rules:

Volunteering Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must complete 12 hours of pre or post-festival work in exchange for a one-day ticket
  • Must show up on time to do a minimum of two six-hour shift
  • Must put down a $75 deposit, which is completely refundable for volunteers who complete all of their work obligations
  • Application deadline: July 30, 2011

There are a whole bunch of different activities you can do to help out as a volunteer at the festival. You might be doing anything from passing out programs to keeping the park clean to serving wine. Make sure you sign up in time, otherwise you will be trying to listen to your favorite artists from the street. There is a much better view from inside, so do something good for the community and while having fun at the same time.
