Vietnamese, Italian, and American All at Americana Grill

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Americana Grill is without a doubt one of the “most unique restaurants in the Bay Area.” I’m unsure as to why this place offers items like cheese steak sandwiches, veal scaloppini, and pho all on the same menu, but damnit, it’s all delicious and affordable.

Americana Grill offers a serious hodgepodge of all sorts of dishes as I mentioned. This may be the most insane or ingenious idea ever. I think I’m actually leaning toward the latter for two reasons: One – the place has been in business for years as their business model has proved successful; Two – it’s perfect for people with all sorts of tastes and interests.

Nearly everything, quite literally, on the menu hovers around eight to nine bucks. You may pay a bit more for some of the entrees and pasta dishes. Coupled with the prices, the portion sizes are generous. I wouldn’t go so far as to say the dishes are large enough to share, but you certainly shouldn’t have any desire to munch again anytime soon after eating an Americana dish.

Dine in or order FREE delivery. Either way, it’s not a bad place to spend a few bucks on a meal.
