I’ve already come out and personally endorsed John Avalos for Mayor of San Francisco.  I really do believe this is the dude for our city.  But even if you’re like, “Man, I don’t really give a fuck Stuart, just tell me where the cheap shit is” you should go to this anyways.  Why?  Because you’ll have the chance to bid on art by some amazing local artists.  Plus you could win a date with Jane Kimswoon!

John has made empowering neighborhood and community artistic identities a cornerstone of his campaign for Mayor. From John: “Everyone in our City in every neighborhood should have access to culture; San Francisco has a diverse population and our cultural experiences should adequately represent that population. Community arts and culture play an enormous role in fostering our neighborhoods and keeping families in our City. Nurturing community involvement through the arts has been a top priority for me throughout my years of public service.
