Tea: FREE And On The Cheap

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Tea has long since been a preferred drink of the broke ass. It’s a great all purpose drink serving as everything from a hangover remedy to a relaxing sleep aid. Tea is the shit.

A great location for all of your tea needs is a place called Aroma Tea Shop. Haymen Da Luz and Ying Wu, husband and wife, are responsible for owning and operating this fine establishment. They actually have another location over at 845 Washington St.

In any case, Aroma offers all sorts of Chinese and Taiwanese tea selections. They have everything from green teas to black teas to oolong teas and all of the essentials you need that go along with brewing a great cup. What’s more is that the majority of the teas are reasonably priced. I should mention that the tastings are damn near limitless and entirely FREE. You could drink so many samples that you may just decide not to buy anything before you leave.

Ultimately, Aroma Tea Shop is awesome and without a doubt broke ass friendly.
