Halloween is about a week away and you might find yourself with nothing to do, because you spent so much time thinking of a costume to wear. Luckily we have a few activities that will be easy on your pockets, while allowing you and your friends to have some fun.

Puppetry Arts presents the 8th Annual Haunted Halloween Carnival

Here’s something for the kids to enjoy! Puppetry Arts presents the 8th Annual Haunted Halloween Carnival at the 1st Street Recreation Center on Saturday, October 27th from 11am-4pm. The event will include games, activities, and tons of FREE giveaways for kids and families of all ages.

Activities will include arts & crafts like mask making, spider puppet making, cookie decorating, and face-painting. Fun games such as ring toss, ski-ball, kid golf, Bouncy Castle, and a basketball toss will be available for the more hyperactive children in attendance. There will also be live performances by local bands and puppet shows including Puppetry Art’s very own Grizzel the Monster Cooking Demo with Cabot Cheese.

Make sure to get their early because FREE Gift Bags will be given to the first 200 kids. I’d like to reassure parents that you don’t have to worry about spending too much money. Everything is fairly inexpensive, including the $2 Crafts & Activities, $2 Hot Dogs, Cotton Candy, & Pop Corn, $3 Haunted House, $4 Bouncy Castle. There will also be FREE giveaways and prizes all day!

So bring your little monsters and dress them up as civilized children, so they can enjoy a fun day with Puppetry Arts!
The 8th Annual Haunted Halloween Carnival is sponsored by Regal Cinemas, Soccer Stars, State Farm, Arts for All, 7 Eleven of 5th Ave, Poland Spring, Gourmet Croissants, Elope, Dave & Busters, Madame Tussauds, and many more!
