Listen Up: Valentine’s Day Soundtrack

I was thinking today … what if your Valentines Day was a movie?

Perhaps you were asked to be the director of said movie. The producer wanted the movie to be a silent one, and all the scenes would be set to music. The location scout informed you that cameras would just follow the main character from the point they woke up … to the moment they went to bed. And then you found out that the main actor/actress was you? What would the soundtrack of your day be?

I decided to create the soundtrack of my Valentines Day using all local SF bands.

Stefan - SF Intercom

My name is Stefan Aronsen. I do not sing, play the drums, clarinet, guitar, piano or harmonic ... but I have tried! My passion for music began when I was still a pre-teen begging my parents for my first drum set. After a year’s worth of lessons, it was clear that I wasn’t very good at drums. So I moved on, joined the school band, and tried my hand at the clarinet. Again after a year’s worth of lessons and hard work I was without much skill. This continued through elementary school and in to college with voice lessons, guitar lessons and finally piano. It turns out that while I could recognize good music; I lacked the talent to make it. In 2004 after years of marketing at a record label and hosting many successful college radio shows, I had earned my Bachelor’s Degree in design. I wasn't done learning so I took a bold step and moved to San Francisco. The move introduced me to a new school where I eventually received my masters and a slew of amazing work opportunities. While finishing up my masters I did design for a record label, marketing for Adidas and licensing for Lucasfilm. Now I'm broke, beautiful and writing for Stuart...
