Super Cheap Drinks for Industry Night at the Golden Gate Tap Room Tonight

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

My favorite thing about the logo is that the look on the goat’s face says, “I’m really sorry I fucked up, but you and I both knew this was gonna happen.”

I recently started working at a cool new bar near Union Square called the Golden Gate Tap Room. There’s hella games like shuffleboard, pool, skeeball, foosball, etc. and there’s over 100 different beers, 50 of which are on tap. It’s pretty much a beer lovers paradise. But it’s also a full bar and is being staffed by SF bartending veterans who’ve worked at all your favorite places like Lucky 13, Thieves Tavern, Aub Zam Zam, Columbus Cafe, Hemlock Tavern, and more. Basically, we’re like the equivalent of the 1992 Men’s Olympic Basketball Dream Team, but WAY boozier.

I’m the guy in the top left.

Anyways, the Golden Gate Tap Room is still in the soft opening period (I’m bartending the grand opening, which is on August 1st. You should come by!), but tonight is Industry Night from 6-12pm for all you folks in service industry (of if you just drink like you’re in the service industry). We want to show off this dope spot to all our  pals so you’re invited to come down for $3 shots of Jameson and Fernet. Plus, there will be tons of booze brand reps there who will most likely be sharing their products, meaning this will be a very cheap night of drinking. Also, just look at this place, it’s gotta be the biggest bar in SF. Come see if you can beat me as skeeball.
