There’s plenty of Halloween parties this year, but there’s only one Halloween party at the Armory and it’s the only one with Rob Garza from Thievery Corporation spinning. This year’s Armory Halloween bash also boasts Syd Gris and the Vau de Vire Society all vamping it up together for Phantasm: A Karnival of Mischief on Saturday, October 31 at The Armory  (14th St. & Mission). With Halloween on a Saturday this year, the Armory is your classiest, most all-star-cast kind of shit you’ll find with general admission tickets still available to allow you to see all these dope fucking acts. Rob Garza took a moment to chat with BrokeAssStuart.com about this creepy, kooky, altogether-ooky event.

ROB GARZA OF THIEVERY CORPORATION

“I’m super excited for the event, such an awesome holiday to celebrate especially in my home city of San Francisco,” Rob Garza told BrokeAssStuart.com. Indeed Rob has been great to his home city, in recent years popping in unannounced to play surprise sets at the Breakfast of Champions party

“Its been incredible to think how the event will be with Syd Gris of Opel Productions and Mike Gaines of Vau de Vire putting so much into the show,” Garza said. “The creative and production aspects are really next level, its going to get freaky!”

SYD GRIS

Fresh off being profiled in Spin Magazine, local DJ superstar Syd Gris is the co-founder of Phantasm SF, founder of Opel Productions and co-producer of the New Bohemia NYE. The imprimatur of that massive superparty will be all over the many stages and interactive performance areas at the Phantasm Halloween bash.

VAU DE VIRE SOCIETY

Legendary local wack-ass circus performers the Vau de Vire Society will also be performing multiple sets at Phantasm 2015, bringing their fucking phenomenal brand of avant-garde circus, sideshow and dance magic to several stages.

Other amazeballs performers at Phantasm 2015 include the Polish Ambassador, Croatia Squad, HOJ, Ethan Miller, Matt Kramer, Vitamindevo, Kimba Rose, DJ Clarkie, Nugz, Non Sequitur, DJ Hil and Kyle Jouras.

Phantasm: Halloween at the Armory is Saturday, October 31 at 9 p.m. at The Armory, 1800 Mission St. General Admission tickets are still available.
