Add one part being born in Cuba, two parts raised in Jersey by a series of non-related families (Diaz’s mother passed away when he was fifteen) and a few parts run-ins with the law, stir and garnish with the tastiest strain of Purple Kush and you’ll finally get a taste of Joey “Coco” Diaz’s special school-of-hard-knock recipe on comedy. It’s not doubt that these lessons mold his special sense of humor.

We’ve seen him in various television episodes and movie roles as that-guy-you-see-in-everything-but-don’t-know-his-name. But, probably more effectively seen in his role on My name is Earl and what his thoughts are on Donald Trump, on his podcast The Church of What’s Happening Now.
