The Most F***ed-Up S*** To Happen At ‘Miss Behave Game Show’

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Usually you turn your phone off at the theater, but Miss Behave Game Show is a wild satire of smartphone use where the audience competes using their smartphones competitively and interactively during the show. Playing at the Great Star Theater through March 5, Miss Behave Game Show pits the audience into teams of iPhone users against the Others (Android, Windows phone, Linux phone, whatever other phone users) to play smartphone-based games of skill and stupidity hosted by world-record holding sword swallower Miss Behave.

“People lose their shit, it descends into a mob mentality,” Miss Behave told BrokeAssStuart.com. “People become incredibly competitive. Regardless of the fact that I’ve already explained that they’re competing for arbitrary points that don’t mean anything, I’ve never seen audiences do what they do at my show.”

“People don’t have to do anything. But lots of people do,” she said. So what kind of fucked-up shit do they do for these arbitrarily assigned points?

SPLITS VS. TITS

“We had a fellow jump up onstage, strip naked and do the splits. He then had competition from the other side where a woman jumped onstage, ripped her shirt open and actually “titted” him off the stage. So we had to decide that, was it Tits or Splits? It ended up being Tits that night.”

THE ‘DO ANYTHING FOR A POINT’ ROUND

One of the funnest games is “Do Anything For A Point” Round. This guy tweeted a picture of himself peeing. WITH HIS PANTS AT HIS KNEES.

I have no explanation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

“A woman came up to during one show and said to me, ‘I’ve got an iPhone and I want you to have it. It’s my work phone and I want a new phone’,” Miss Behave remembers. “I said ‘I know, but this is a real phone’. She said, ‘I don’t care’.”

“So I said, ‘Do you want to smash it? I’ve got a mallet.’ So she got up onstage and smashed the living shit out of her iPhone.”

“She was heard leaving the venue saying, ‘God, I don’t think I’ve got that insured’.”

The rules determining who wins at Miss Behave Game Show are a lot like the rules of who wins at life itself.

“It’s not who works the hardest. It’s not who’s the most talented,” she said onstage Thursday night, “It’s who wants it the most.”

Tickets are still available for the Miss Behave Game Show at the Great Star Theater (636 Jackson) Friday, Feb. 26 and Saturday, Feb. 27 plus all next weekend (Thurs., March 3 – Sat., March 5) at 8 p.m. each evening.
