Rally Against Police Violence Tonight in Oakland

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

shut it down

The past couple days have been horrific. Police who have sworn to protect and serve, have gunned down two innocent black men for the sole crime of being black. Alton Sterling and Philando Castile would never have been killed if they were white men. Enough is enough. We are taking to the streets tonight in Oakland, where the local PD have committed an immense amount of crimes themselves, including the recent sex-trafficking bullshit. Come out in solidarity. Stand up with those who are being oppressed.

The following info is from the FB invite:

For #AltonSterling and #PhilandoCastile, and for all the women trafficked and exploited by the rapists and murderers in Oakland Police Department and across the Bay Area. For all who are displaced from their neighborhoods and robbed of opportunity. We march. We act. We Shut It Down.

See you tonight at Oscar Grant Plaza from 7-10pm.
