Recently SodaStream put out this great video that parodies Cersei Lannister’s literal walk of shame through the streets of King’s Landing. Beyond just being a funny and cute video (that even has curse words!!) it also has a great message: plastic water bottles are bad for the environment and using them is shameful. Check it out below:

First off, the Mountain is HUGE ! Jesus Christ!

Secondly, that video was super cute right? Well the points it makes are 100% true. As The Mountain Says, “Fuck plastic bottles.” Water bottles are obviously bad for the environment. The Great Pacific garbage patch is floating collection of trash, roughly the size of Texas. And it is comprised mostly of plastic. Gross!

That’s why SodaStream is so wonderful, it takes your regular tap water and makes it hella fancy! It makes 60 liters of bubbly water, saving you tons of money and stopping you from buying loads of plastic bottles. Just look at it getting all bubbly:

I call this exquisite photo “Portrait of the artist’s handing reflected in a SodaStream machine”

The folks at SodaStream actually sent me one so I could try it out. And even if they weren’t paying me I’d say this: it is awesome! There’s 3 levels of carbonation to choose from so you can choose how bubbly you want it. I went with medium bubbly here:

My main use of course is for cocktails. I’m a vodka & soda kind of guy so I get to use the SodaStream to make drinks at a home:

Look how excited I am about having bubbly water!

If you’re interested learning more about SodaStream and how it saves the average user 550 plastic bottles a year, you can check it out here.

Now where’d I put my cocktail?
