We have a really great and really important episode of Weird & Wonderful for you today. In it we recap the anti-fascist rallies that happened in the Bay Area over the weekend. We also discuss the importance of Antifa to the movement and how labeling them terrorists is not only wrong, it’s really fucking dangerous.

Our guest this time is is the multitalented musician and activist Rafael Bustamante Sarria. His band La Gente has created their own unique blend of World Music, Cumbia, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and Salsa. Rafael tells us about the importance of activism not only in his life but also in his music. He also talks about facing down armed militia members at Crissy Field.

If you dig what we’re doing please donate to help keep it going. Sonny Phono put a ton of time, love, and effort into producing this thing and he does it for free. You can donate here or here.
