Recent word on the wires tells us that, in an effort to boost the late summer sales slump, streamlined air carrier, Jet Blue is offering a $599 fly-wherever-you-AND-all-you-want pass for a month.  Bargain? Kinda?

If you are unemployed/on holiday, have some money saved and fly more than five times during the period allowed or you travel for work a lot, it probably is going to play pretty well in favour.

Theoretically, although there are international taxes tacked on, you don’t have to keep inside the US either.  You can pretty much take a grand tour of Colombia, the Yucatan and the entire Caribbean, and then swing back through New York, Sarasota, Florida and other glitzy American metropolises.

Just remember you have to buy the pass before the 21st of August.

Stephen's early years were spent in a boxcar overlooking downtown Los Angeles. From there he moved around the state with his family before settling under the warm blanket of smog that covers suburban Southern California. Moving around led to his inability to stay in one place for very long, but San Francisco has been reeling him back in with its siren song since 1999.
By trade he pours booze, but likes to think he can write and does so occasionally for the SF Bay Guardian, Bold Italic and 7x7. He also likes to enjoy time spent in old eateries, bars and businesses that, by most standards, would have been condemned a long time ago.
