Dirty Dishes 4, The Scrappening

This Dirty Dishes DJs and Food Carts event at the Lookout has been going on for a couple months now (Christy wrote about it’s second incarnation back in March), but because every month brings a couple new street food dining options for you to sample all under one roof, you’ve got plenty of reason to go back. Tonight’s event adds a couple new faces behind the turntables, but more important are the food options:

Gobba Gobba Hey which sounds like a children’s TV show will be slinging Gobs, which look something like gourmet oatmeal creme pies and come in a variety of flavors, for 2 bucks a pop. The “porcine artistes” behind Good Foods Catering will be dishing up pulled pork sandwiches with bacon BBQ sauce, pulled pork tacos, and Vegan BBQ Bites for the herbivores. And finally,  a couple chefs from Marnee Thai have created White Lotus Thai to bring you fresh veggie spring rolls, chicken satay, and Thai red curry with butternut squash. Super! Delicious! Cheap!

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
