Cooking in Heels Book Release Party FREE at Happy Endings Tomorrow Night

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

The Red Umbrella Diaries are back with another special event in their monthly series. This time they’ll be looking to not only feed you, but teach you how to feed yourself. Come down and discover what Ceyenne Doroshow has to offer your stomach as she shares her riveting story as a transgender girl from Brooklyn. Ceyenne Doroshow is celebrating her Cooking in Heels memoir/cookbook release at Happy Endings tomorrow night with Audacia Ray and the rest of the RedUP family.

Cooking in Heels “serves up Southern and Caribbean inspired classics along with humorous anecdotes on life and love to create a touching story of survival and perseverance.” Ceyenne will be on hand to speak on her book, the process she went through in creating it and a brief book signing at the end. If that doesn’t intrigue you, then you should come down to try Ceyenne’s complimentary Southern and Caribbean style hors d’oeuvres.

The event is absolutely FREE and you must be 21 and over to attend. The doors open at 7pm and the event begins at 8pm. So come on down and learn how to cook in heels.

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

My father came, my mother saw...and I conquered. I encourage children to do drugs, I buy alcohol for teenagers, and I drink beer with the homeless. In my spare time, I attend art galleries for the FREE booze while rubbing elbows with modish elephants. I also hammer six-inch nails into small penises. Stuart knighted me as Broke-Ass King of New York. You've been warned.
