Fool’s Gold Day Off at City Winery

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Your Facebook feed may be full of pictures from your friends’ weekend trips to the Hamptons or the Jersey shore, but the real foolishness is happening right here in the city. Celebrate Labor Day with A-track and the rest of the good people from Fool’s Gold Records at their second Day Off all-ages party today!

The event, which runs from 2PM-8PM, was the setting for last year’s “Barbara Streisand” video, and this year’s line-up is looking like it’ll be just as raucous. Catch performances and DJ sets by acts like Three-6 Mafia’s Juicy J, Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak and Dave1,the tall dude from Chromeo), Danny Brown, Araabmuzik, Cubic Zirconia and Nick Catchdubs. Plus, there’ll food, drinks, and surprise guests, and who wants to miss a surprise? It’s FREE all day, and there’s no RSVP necessary, but get there on the early side since admission is based on capacity.

And, if you need a soundtrack to get ready to, here’s the Fool’s Gold Radio: August Mix.

Fool’s Gold Day Off
Monday Sept. 5th 2PM-8PM

Tiara Francis - NY Know-it-all

Tiara was born in NYC, raised in NJ, and after studying Comp Lit at Columbia, vowed to never go back to the suburbs. While she has expensive taste, she also has shallow pockets and is always looking for a budget way to be a weekend warrior. Her hobbies include laughing way too loudly, putting hot sauce on/in everything - including margaritas - speaking French at inappropriate moments, and dancing like there’s no one else in da club.
