FREE Burgers at FoodParc if You Own A Tron Costume and Are Willing To Wear It In Public

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you already own a Tron costume, let’s face it: you’re getting laid pretty much… never, so you might as well be upfront about this fact and utilize your Tron costume in what it can help you get, which is a FREE combo meal at FoodParc, including cheeseburger, fries, and a drink.

If you do not own a Tron costume, but work in midtown or are willing to travel frequently to midtown for lunch, I would highly recommend buying one, because this free combo meal thing goes on from now until January 30th. Thus, if you invest in a $44 “Glow Man” costume, which with tax and shipping probably comes to a total cost of $50, it would take five expeditions to FoodParc in your Tron costume to make back your initial investment. After that, each trip is FREE cheeseburgers and profit!

Another option, for individuals with slightly less diligence and perhaps more dignity, is to see Tron in theaters and show your ticket stub for a free order of bacon snacks or fried pickles. Either way, win.

Katy B. - Economic Inexpert

Katy B. grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the home of Gerald R. Ford, Andy Richter, and, at one point, the guy who wrote Mr. Holland's Opus. She moved to NYC for her degree in library science, and is now in the Media Studies program at The New School. She hopes to one day be a film studies librarian. Ask her anything about Dewey Decimal – anything! – and she will roll her eyes because academic libraries use Library of Congress. Durrr.
