“ Calling all fans of old timey things: Brooklyn Public Library is showing Buster Keaton’s 1925 silent film about Jimmie Shannon, a broker who is about to hit rock bottom when he finds out that he could inherit seven million dollars if he is married by 7 pm on his 27th birthday. The only catch is that the 27th is today, but at least he has 700 women who are chasing after him. Then there’s a spcial showing of Keaton’s 1922 short film “Cops.” But the best part of the afternoon is that it’s all accompanied by live piano, just like the films were in 1925. ”
