Pint Exchange – Give Blood, Get Beer

A healthy trade

A healthy trade

Like organizations that use anime-eyed children in fundraising campaigns, Brooklyn brewer Kelso is using something we have a powerful weakness for – free beer -  to leverage positive impact. For the rest of this month they are offering a “Pint for Pint” program whereby you can present an official declaration of blood donation (obtained at the time of extraction) AND a certificate from the brewer (print here) to get a free pint at participating bars. If only Dracula were so creative.  The bars (listed here) are mostly in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, so if you’re in Queens or Harlem and want to replace your blood with beer immediately to try to become Beer Man you should choose your donation site wisely.
