Carmine's II: The Carminening

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Just when you thought your pizza-related life couldn’t get any better, Carmine’s of Graham Ave. in Williamsburg has opened ANOTHER location. This new spot, Carmine’s II, is right next to Dumont by the Lorimer L stop. So, not only are their mouth-watering margherita slices more conveniently located, but they even have a huge patio with seating.

For those of you unacquainted, Carmine’s Pizza is basically the best non-coal oven pizza in Brooklyn, hands-down. They feature 3 different styles of slices- thin Sicilian, regular, and pan Sicilian. I don’t care much for their pan Sicilian, but god help us all if I’m anywhere near either of the two types. The variety of the thin Sicilian slices is staggering- Chicken Tuscan, Spinach Ricotta, Insalata, and Bianco Pesto are just SOME of the different thin Sicilian kinds they offer.

Keep in mind, though, that Carmine’s II is not open as late as the regular Carmine’s, which I think is open sometimes till about 10pm. I went to Carmine’s II at 8pm on a weekday once, only to find them closed. So, get there early!
