Dance, Drink and Do Good at Physical Action Tonight

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

It’s freezing. There are signs/sales/stories reminding you what presents you should be buying for people that you can’t afford in your grill constantly, and you are probably busier than ever trying to get enough work done to take time off for the holidays. You know what you need to combat this craziness, you? A damn good dance party. For a damn good cause. And an open bar, obviously. So get thee to the Night of Physical Action Benefit for the Organization of Visual Progression tonight at the Showpaper Gallery starting at 7PM!

For $15, you can shake your money maker to the stylings of DJ Too Much all night and enjoy an open bar courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery. Tickets are available online and at the door, and all proceeds go to OVP so they can continue helping social justice organizations become more effective by equipping them media and video necessary to increase their advocacy. Pretty inspiring stuff! Sounds like this night out is bound to warm up your heart, too (awwwwww).

Night of Physical Action

Jill is an Ohio native and Boston University graduate who refuses to stop saying "pop" and wearing her Red Sox gear despite being heckled for doing so since moving to Brooklyn. She's been honing her thrifty ways since doing that silly thing people talk about when they ignore reason to follow their hearts and chose a career in the fulfilling but faltering music industry. She earns her beer money as a publicist and writer, and spends her spare time cooking, biking, and trying to decide if she's ready to get a cat.
