Free Bowling Happy Hour at Brooklyn Bowl This Summer

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

FREE BOWLING AND SHOES! FREE BOWLING AND SHOES! FREE BOWLING AND SHOES! Phew. Sorry. Just a little excited that bowling has finally returned to the cheap-ass entertainment activity I grew up loving it to be thanks to the fine folks at Brooklyn Bowl. Starting now, mention “Summer Bowl” when checking in at the bowling desk Monday-Friday from 6-7PM and the discount I oh so subtly mentioned earlier is yours!

The Bowl is bursting with other fun too, which I specifically enjoy in the form of their very delicious large margaritas and their “Rock and Roll Fries” made with Gravy, Cajun Spice, Provolone and Cheddar, as well as other fine offerings from the famous Blue Ribbon Restaurants. DJ Questlove brings his fro pickin’, beat-droppin ways during his DJ set Bowl Train every Thursday night, and most shows only cost around $5-7 and come with plenty of room to see for everyone to see.

Jill is an Ohio native and Boston University graduate who refuses to stop saying "pop" and wearing her Red Sox gear despite being heckled for doing so since moving to Brooklyn. She's been honing her thrifty ways since doing that silly thing people talk about when they ignore reason to follow their hearts and chose a career in the fulfilling but faltering music industry. She earns her beer money as a publicist and writer, and spends her spare time cooking, biking, and trying to decide if she's ready to get a cat.
