The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Mondays are anything but a laughing matter.  I don’t know about you, but after a weekend tarnished by a stormy Sunday, I kind of feel like I got screwed out of my non-work day fun.  What’s a girl to do when she has a major case of the Monday Blues?  Laugh them off at The Kong Show: Summer Staycation, of course!

Part vaudeville, part stand-up, and all hilarious, The Kong Show features the comedic stylings of The Lionhearted Players.  As if that’s not enough, prepare to be wow-ed by “Stand-Up Comedy Magic” of Dave Cremin.  Who doesn’t love a good slight-of-hand?  Also featured will be musical guest Janene Otten, singer/dancer/burlesque performer Sake Fevah, and more cool peeps who are sure to make you alternate between giggles and dazzlement.  The show starts at 7pm, but show up at 6pm for some happy hour cocktails.  Sounds like the perfect way to shake off a shitty start to the work week!

Info and tickets for The Kong Show: Summer Staycation can be found HERE.  As an added bonus, Broke-Ass Stuart readers can receive discounted tickets by typing in the discount code “BrokeAss.”  Hell yeah to discounted comedy on a rainy day!
