FREE Karaoke Night at Manhattan Inn Tuesdays

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I’ve always felt good about Tuesday. It’s not Monday, so that’s already a good start. Wednesday is awkward and unnecessary unless you follow a half-day Wednesday schedule, in which case it’s awesome – like a weekend in the middle of the week! Thursdays are supposedly “thirsty” but then you wake up Friday even thirstier than you were the night before when you were downing Irish car bombs. The weekend is the weekend. We don’t even need to go into that. That leaves us with Tuesday. If you don’t feel awesome about Tuesday you should. It’s great. It’s smooth like a 20 year Downes’ N° 9. It’s warm and comforting like a giant bunny rabbit. Yes, Tuesdays are truly a special.

And if you don’t already look forward to Tuesdays with utmost enthusiasm, well get ready to make some life changes!

Every Tuesday night, that most hallowed of establishments, Manhattan Inn, hosts karaoke night with a LIVE pianist who will play anything from the Carpenters to Cindy Lauper. It’s truly a magnificent occasion.

The crowd is great. The drinks are delivered to your table. The lights are low… quite low – seriously you don’t need to worry about looking silly. I know I didn’t. But then singing Superstar in falsetto has never been an area of shame for me. I don’t know why.

Did I mention… it’s FREE! TOTALLY 100% FREE!

Enjoy.
